2/9/23: Our Investigations & Rescue team arrived at our sanctuary Tuesday night with 14 cats rescued from an abandoned home. We were contacted by Kodas Rescue Kittys who got the cats to safety, and we responded immediately to bring these cats to our sanctuary to heal.

After being evicted, people left the cats behind with no food or water in the deplorable home. The floors were covered in feces, and the cats were found among garbage and mold. Thankfully, a responsible neighbor noticed the animals and reached out for help.

The cats are suffering from severe flea infestation, worms, upper respiratory infections, and other health issues our team will address. Three of the cats needed immediate medical attention. Our care team will provide ongoing medical care to get each one stable and eventually ready for adoption.

It is critical that we are able to respond quickly to these types of rescues, and we are grateful these cats are now safe. But we need your help. Your support makes these rescues possible! Most of our funding comes from individual donors like you and any amount will make a difference.

Additionally, we are actively looking for families to adopt the amazing animals already at our sanctuary, and we have a group of cats from a previous rescue ready for their new home. For every cat adopted into a loving home, we are able to rescue another. Learn more here.

Thank you for your continued support, which makes these rescues possible!
