What We Do

We are fighting to end animal cruelty
and create a more compassionate world.

Pasado’s Safe Haven has a uniquely comprehensive approach to fighting animal cruelty.  In addition to investigating animal cruelty crimes and providing sanctuary and rehabilitation to animals who have suffered from abuse and neglect, we also advocate for better laws to protect animals and work to educate the public about how they help end animal cruelty.

Our Programs

INVESTIGATIONS & RESCUE

We are improving the response to crimes against animals through investigations, rescue and training programs for law enforcement, vets and humane officers.

SANCTUARY

Our 85 acre sanctuary is home to over 250 animals – dogs, cats and farmed animals –  most of whom arrived as victims of cruelty or neglect.

PET HOMELESSNESS PREVENTION

We are reducing shelter overpopulation and unnecessary euthanasia with spay/neuter and food bank programs.

EDUCATION & ADVOCACY

We engage thousands of people through online and sanctuary-based education and advocacy initiatives to reduce animal suffering and grow compassion.
