On February 8, 2024, our Investigations and Rescue team brought in 18 cats from multiple cases in Yakima County. All of the animals had sadly been dumped in the area. With shelters at capacity, there were no resources to help so we stepped in to give these cats a second chance. They have made it safely to our Healing Barn and are receiving excellent care from our veterinary team. Some of the immediate medical needs are untreated abscesses, dental disease, upper respiratory infections, fleas, ear mites, and other parasites. They will all need spay/neuter surgeries, vaccines, deworming, microchips, and ongoing medical support.

Our trained team is specially equipped to handle a large intake like this. They will all receive ongoing medical care, rehabilitation, and enrichment at our sanctuary until they are ready for adoption. Your generous support allows us to respond to rescues like this quickly when no one else can. You allow us to save animals that have no other hope. Please continue to support this lifesaving work! Your donation today supports these rescued cats and all our work to end animal cruelty.A safe examination of a cat by a veterinarian.A man and woman, wearing blue suits and gloves, gently examine a safe cat.
