Our Investigations & Rescue team responded on-scene 11/15/23 to a case involving 11 cats. They were found in horrible condition after being left at their owner’s home after he passed away in August. Sadly, there were deceased cats found at the property. The owner’s sister had been desperately calling everywhere for help. Shelters and rescues are at a capacity crisis and are turning away animals relentlessly. She had nowhere to turn until the Sheriff’s Office recommended she contact us. We are grateful we could make room and step in when no one else could.

Pasado’s Safe Haven is able to help the animals who fall through the cracks, animals who have nowhere else to turn. Your support makes this possible.

We brought the cats to safety and they are receiving urgent care at our sanctuary from our medical team. As you can see from the photos, they are suffering. They will need ongoing care to clear infections and have a long road ahead. Over the next few days and weeks, we will be working hard to address their various medical needs and get them comfortable. Our goal is to get them healthy and work to find them new, loving homes.

We are heartbroken by the suffering they have endured, but we are hopeful that they each have a bright future ahead. Your ongoing support allows us to respond to rescues like this quickly. You allow us to save animals that have no other hope. Please donate today to allow us to continue this lifesaving work and support all our work to end animal cruelty!
