Spay & Neuter Resources for Tribal Members
WELCOME!
Are you a member of an Indigenous Tribe?
Do you have pet(s) in your household?
Are you within our income guidelines?
If you answered yes to all three questions, you are in the right place. Thanks to the ASPCA, we have a grant to cover spay/neuter, microchips, and vaccines for any member of any indigenous tribe (this includes Duwamish) while funds last. Please click on the clinic location of your choosing and indicate you are a member of a tribe. Proof of tribal membership will be required.
REQUESTING AN APPOINTMENT FOR ALL TRIBES
CATS
You can schedule your cat’s appointment by clicking on the location below. Mama cats must be 8 weeks post-birth to be spayed. Kittens must be at least 8 weeks old and weigh at least 2lbs to be spayed or neutered.
Look for an appointment in:
- Snohomish (Once a month – Tulalip)
- Pierce (Monday-Thursday – Lakebay, Puyallup, Spanaway, Yelm, Bonney Lake, Lakewood – cats, dogs under 70lbs)
- Thurston (4th Thursday in Lacey)
- King (Wednesdays in Renton, primarily cats with 2-3 spots for dogs under 20lbs)
DOGS
Due to space constraints on our small mobile clinics, a scheduler needs to make your dog’s appointment to ensure all animals will fit in our limited kennels. There is a strict weight limit: female dogs up to 60lbs and male dogs up to 70lbs. Please add your name to our waitlist and a scheduler will reach out when appointments become available. If the waitlist is full, please check back.
