The animals we rescue are those that have nowhere else to go. They come from hoarding and neglect, abusive homes, or have been abandoned because they need medical attention. Urias
Urias is a FIV+ kitty who was in danger of being euthanized because he emotionally shut down in a more traditional shelter environment. After his arrival at Pasado's Safe Haven, he completely blossomed into his true self - he is lovable, cat-friendly, headstrong, and a total sweetheart.
Pax
Pax is a handsome, but very shy kitty. We rescued him from a terrible hoarding case and after 2 years he is just starting to trust his caregivers. He still gets scared easily, but we have a lot of hope that he will find the right family someday soon!
Jupiter
Jupiter's friendly, gentle demeanor melts our hearts on the daily. This senior kitty has many ailments including heart disease, high blood pressure, asthma, carsickness and more. It's your support that allows us to give him the best life possible while he waits for his forever family.
Tater
We rescued Tater from a hoarder house and later discovered that she had been shot by a BB gun at some point in her life. She is understandably very scared of people even after 3 years of loving, patient care at Pasado's Safe Haven.
Cupid
Cupid is a FIV+ cat who we rescued from a hoarding house. He not only has kidney disease, but can often be difficult to handle due to his scared nature. Even with his tough past, he can be very sweet on his own terms and with people he trusts.
Gus Gus & Jet
We rescued Gus Gus & Jet from an abandonment case. These soulmates are playful, adorable, and have benefitted from long-term care at Pasado's Safe Haven. They are uncomfortable with being touched and will need a patient home to help them with their urination issues.
Rae
Pasado's Safe Haven rescued Rae from a hoarding house. She is cute as a button, cross-eyed, and best friends with Bernie. She and Bernie get daily socialization to help them reach their full potential in a future home!
Dodger
Dodger is from one of our recent hoarding case rescues. He earned the nickname "The Godfather" because he is fiercely protective of his fellow cats. He will need a lot of time and active socialization to learn to trust humans.
