12/9/22: Our Investigations & Rescue team just assisted animal control at a large hoarding situation involving over 70 animals on a single property. Our team arrived back at our sanctuary late last night with 13 cats, and partner organizations are taking other animals to safety.
Multiple species were found at the property and the animals were kept in deplorable conditions. Some of the animals needed urgent medical care, including a cat with a visibly broken leg. Tragically, 6 deceased animals were also found on the property.
It was a long and taxing day, but our experienced team worked quickly on scene to help get these animals the help they desperately needed. This is an active criminal case involving animal cruelty, hoarding and neglect. Because of this, we are not able to share photos or many more details at this time.
You can help now by making a donation today. Your gift not only ensures our rescue team is ready to respond, it also helps us provide care for victim animals and supports all our work to end animal cruelty. Any amount will make a difference.
