This year we celebrate the 25th anniversary of Pasado’s Safe Haven! We are so proud of what we have accomplished over the last 25 years in our fight to end animal cruelty. What started as a community response to the killing of Pasado the donkey is now a mighty force for animals in our region. We are not only helping save individual animals, we are also working to improve the systems that impact animals most in our society.
Since our founding in 1997, our programs have evolved to be among the most impactful in the country. Our four focus areas take a comprehensive approach to solving a complex problem. We lead with smart, creative solutions and ultimately hope to inspire people to reimagine their relationships with animals.
Over the last 25 years, we have made a difference in the lives of countless animals. And we are just getting started! We look forward to sharing some of the incredible achievements that you have helped make possible…as well as some of what we have planned for the next 25 years.
To help celebrate this 25-year milestone, we have created a new “25” mark. Soon we will have commemorative merchandise in the gift shop. You’ll be among the first to know when it’s available.
This work takes heart and grit. And commitment. I hope you feel proud of what we have accomplished together so far. And that you are as ready to tackle the future as we are.
