The Pet Services team reached a major milestone this week: 80,000 spay and neuter surgeries for pets in our community!
That’s 80,000 dogs and cats who received essential veterinary care they may otherwise not have been able to access. Each surgery means less suffering, a family able to keep a beloved pet, and progress toward ending Washington’s growing pet overpopulation crisis. Behind this number is a much bigger challenge: there simply aren’t enough accessible, affordable spay/neuter services to meet the need.
Day after day, we hear from families who have nowhere else to turn for veterinary care. From overflowing shelters to growing feral cat populations, communities across our state are feeling the effects of pet overpopulation. With your dedication to our work, we’re committed to doing more to make essential veterinary care accessible to the pets and families who need in most.
Your support makes this work possible. Every surgery we provide is made possible by people like you who believe in ending animal suffering. If you are able, please donate today and help us reach even more animals in need.
Join us in celebrating this incredible milestone and our amazing, dedicated Pet Services team who work every day to change the future for animals in our community – one surgery at a time.
