Our programs foster kindness for all living beings – human and animal – while giving students space to exercise critical thinking and contemplation to realize that they can have an impact. Incorporating this kind of education is quickly becoming an important component of comprehensive learning – preparing youth to be compassionate leaders in a changing world.
Our programs are designed to connect with multiple nationally recognized education standards to maximize the learning experience. This includes links to the Next Generation Science Standards for Kindergarten through 2nd grade and Common Core English Language Art Standards for 3rd and 5th graders reading the book Shiloh.

Our students loved being able to see the difference Pasado’s Safe Haven can make. They found it heartbreaking to learn about some of the cruelty animals face but truly appreciated the beautiful home Pasado’s Safe Haven is able to provide. This gave them a better understanding of how they can help protect animals and become involved if they witness abuse. It helps students develop compassion for all living things.
We really appreciated being able to host activities for the kiddos despite pandemic protocols. Pasado's did a wonderful job of captivating and educating the kids virtually. It was very inspiring. We will be sharing this experience with other teachers.
