Plant Powered Policy

Each legislative session, Pasado’s Safe Haven works with Washington lawmakers to include funding for plant-based school meals in the state operating budget. And this is just the beginning! By increasing access through state funding and building awareness with legislators, schools, and other partners, we hope to see a transition to a healthier, more sustainable, and equitable food system for everyone.
