Open Volunteer Day

Have you ever wanted to volunteer at our sanctuary, but don’t have time for an ongoing commitment? Join us for a one-day volunteer opportunity and help us get some much-needed work done!  Sample projects include:

• Help us prepare for our next big rescue by sorting and organizing our crates.
• Prepare the winter pastures for the cows and donkeys by removing blackberries, toxic plants, and large rocks.
• Remove the blackberries from the pig enclosures to keep their space comfortable and tidy. While you’re at it, rub some pig bellies. They love it!

There will be plenty of time to meet some of our animals residents. Open to the first 20 people that register. Kids must be at least 12 years old to volunteer with their parent/guardian.
