We Welcome You to Enjoy Our Safe Space.
Pasado’s Safe Haven is a nonprofit organization fighting to end animal cruelty. Our 85-acre sanctuary outside Monroe, Washington, is home to over 200 animals, including dogs, cats, pigs, goats, sheep, cows, donkeys, llamas, ducks, chickens, and more.
At Pasado’s, the animals found refuge after surviving cruelty. Now they live freely as valued, beloved individuals. We focus on helping the most vulnerable animals — victims of cruelty and neglect, animals living with families lacking access to critical services, and those whose survival depends on legislative change. Our programs educate the public about how to help end animal suffering and ensure that victim animals have a second chance at life.
When You Arrive at the Sanctuary, We Will Be Here to Welcome You.
We will greet you when you arrive and provide a map and directions around our campus. There are no structured events or activities, just an open, safe space for you to unwind and reflect as you like.
You’ll have the opportunity to visit our Cow Barn, Dog Play Park, Kitty City, and goat and sheep yards. Staff and volunteers will be at each animal’s space to answer questions. We’ll provide vegan snacks, beverages, and more at our central event space, Pasado’s House.
