Animal Advocates Workshop – FULL

May 31, 2025, 9:30 am - 1:30 pm

Tour mast donkey

Explore our changing relationship with animals while learning about how a farmed animal sanctuary works to continue improving our society’s treatment of animals. Participants will discuss how we can be animal advocates in our daily lives, as well as discuss the importance of increasing legal protections for animals. The guided sanctuary tour will give participants a chance to meet rescued animals that have been victims of animal neglect or abuse, solidifying our reasons for continuing animal advocacy.

Recommended for ages 12-16. Siblings that attend with participants will also need to purchase a child’s ticket.

This event meets requirements for the Girl Scout Cadette Animal Helpers Badge and Senior Voice for Animals Badge.

Girl Scouts of Western Washington members may use code “GSWW” for a registration discount.

Fee includes commemorative Pasado’s patch for each participant. Scout badges are earned through activities but must be purchased on your own.
