We need your help to find the person(s) responsible for Phoebe’s horrific abuse. Pasado’s Safe Haven’s Investigation & Rescue team has been working with the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office on a string of distressing cases involving deceased dogs found throughout Yakima County with injuries consistent with severe abuse and neglect.

Earlier this month, two dogs were found in the region with evidence of extreme abuse and torture. Sadly, one of the dogs was found deceased, but Phoebe survived. Our dedicated veterinary team is providing care for her injuries and trauma, and she is expected to fully recover.

We need to find whoever did this so this abuse will stop. We are sharing photos of her with the hopes that someone will recognize this sweet dog and can help us find a lead to catch those responsible. Please take a moment to look at these photos or share them with anyone you know in the Yakima County area.

Together with support from our partners People for Animal Care and Kindness, Team Okanogan Animal Rescue, and PETA, we are offering a reward of $10,000 for tips leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person(s) responsible. Anyone with specific details that are relevant to the current incidents should call 1-800-222-TIPS and reference case #23C16859, or submit a tip on Yakima County Crime Stopper’s websiteYou may provide an anonymous tip!

We have not given up on this disturbing case and will continue to fight for these victims throughout Yakima County. Phoebe is part of a larger, county-wide issue of animal abuse occurring in the region that must end.
