Thanksgiving for the Turkeys November 12

November 12, 2022, 11:00 am - 3:30 pm

Come celebrate Pasado’s Safe Haven’s rescued turkeys with a delicious vegan meal in honor of these unique animals! Soak up the spirit of the season in the company of our charming rescued animal residents. And indulge in a vegan feast after you tour the sanctuary in the fall air. This is a family-friendly event!

*There are multiple time slots available – reserve the one that works best for you!

Due to Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI), our turkeys and other birds will be kept safely indoors to prevent any potential spread to our flock for their safety. We will of course honor them and have an opportunity to check out their new turkey yard, opening soon! To allow for ample social distancing, groups are limited to 15 per time slot and will move through the sanctuary in small private groups with your own guide.

About the Chef: Amy has been hosting vegan cooking classes with Pasado’s Safe Haven since 2018 and has also worked as a chef for the Humane Society of the United States, developing recipes and leading culinary trainings to food service professionals around the country. Amy loves sharing tips for making vegan versions of traditional food with humor and sprinkles of facts about why it’s better for us all.

Can’t attend but still want to support the rescued turkeys this holiday season? Sponsor a turkey at Pasado’s Safe Haven!
