College Programs

College Programs

We are proud to welcome college students and classrooms to our sanctuary and we also visit college campuses in the Greater Seattle Area. Our college focused lessons are centered on facilitating dynamic conversations that connect to real-word issues involving animals, people, and the environment. We have the ability to provide a variety of tools to help guide meaningful discussions around the philosophy and ethics that connect to animal cruelty in today’s world. From the individual rescue stories of animals at our sanctuary to new Virtual Reality technology, our lesson is sure to leave an impact.

Virtual Reality Technology

We are excited to be able to provide a virtual reality experience called iAnimal at our sanctuary and interested college campuses. This exciting new technology allows us to step into the lives of the animals in our current food production system. With cutting edge footage from Animal Equality, iAnimal is helping the world gain a better understanding of farm animals like cow, pigs, and chickens.

Individual Projects

Students who are working on independent research, thesis papers, capstone projects, etc., with a focus on animal welfare or animal agriculture, are encouraged to connect with us as part of their independent studies. We are happy to stand as a resource partner or provide educational field visits to any student who is interested in diving deeper into the layered aspects of animal cruelty.

What Professors Say

“Thank you so much for taking the time to come to my class at University of Washington Tacoma and for the engaging and enlightening discussion! You helped my students see multiple dimensions of the problem of industrial animal agriculture and the ethical decisions that we can all choose to take. I look forward to a more engaged participation from my students with Pasado’s in the future.” B. Mallik, PhD Global Ethics Professor University of Washington Tacoma
