Air Miles
We now have a United Airlines Mileage Plus account set up, allowing the frequent traveller to make a big difference in animal lives. Think of it as a "rescue offset".
We often use air miles for out of state rescues and transport or put them together to get flights for our yearly Dog Bowl fund-raiser.

Snowmobile
As we cruise into March, we're still battling snow fall at the Pasado's Farm. We learned many lessons from out-of-the-ordinary freezing conditions - first and foremost, had we had a snowmobile we could have increased our capacity to handle farm emergencies and animal rescues.
Used snowmobiles range in cost from $2,000, but we will gladly take a personal vehicle that perhaps you no longer have use for - we'll even come and pick it up!

Dental Radiograph Machine
Pasado Vetrinary Care is searching for a cost efficient, high quality dental radiograph machine. This is one of the most frequently needed diagnostic tools still needed.
Pasado's frequently cares for senior patients that have been deprived dental care in their lifetime. Major tooth extractions can be difficult on senior animals, and without radiographs to confirm the necessity of such, we remain reluctant to pull teeth. This machine would greatly enhance our care for all of our dogs and cats.
This type of system can cost a minimum of $2500.00 up to $4000.00, depending on type, quality and accessories.

Whole Body Radiograph Machine
Pasado Vetrinary Care is searching for an economical whole body radiograph machine. X-ray's of older dogs is part of a "gold standard" of diagnostics and treatment. Many problems may be undetectable with only routine physical exams and blood work. If an animal is showing no outward signs of problems, a very significant disease may go unfound.
We would love to be able to take chest and abdominal radiographs of all of our older dogs and cats. This will help in diagnosing problems before they become untreatable. Regretably, we have lost some patients that could have otherwise been saved if we had this technology.
