We are having a tack sale on September 6th to raise awareness and funds for Pasado’s equines. Any and all donations of tack and horse-related items will be gladly accepted.
Sam’s Cats and Dogs in Monroe WA has very graciously offered not only to host the sale in the old Grizzly’s building, but also to accept the donations. You can drop items off there at any time during their open hours. I will also be able to arrange to pick up large items in the Monroe/Sultan area if you have no way of transporting them. (Except for equines…we’re pretty much at our limit!) We would appreciate the donations by Friday afternoon, but if necessary, can accept them Saturday morning before 9:00. Donated blankets will be cleaned and sized by Hoofbeat Blankets if they are given enough time before the sale to do so. A huge thanks to both of these businesses for their support.
Plans are in the making for a food table sponsored by another area equine rescue. We are also working on having either door prizes or silent auction items, and donations of those will be greatly appreciated as well.
We have several special-needs equines whose medications and treatments are costly, and we hope to offset those costs with a very successful sale. There will be a display of our equines available for adoption or foster, and our adoption counselor will be in attendance to answer questions or arrange a meeting.
Sam’s is having its anniversary sale on the 6th and the 7th, and will be having many specials and product reps present.
It will be a fun afternoon. Your attendance and generosity will be most appreciated.
