Templin is an adorable bundle of joy who hopes to find her forever home. This sweetheart came to Pasado’s Safe Haven after spending her autumn in an area shelter, suffering in silence. As the bronze and gold leaves fell from the trees, Templin’s health deteriorated, but she couldn’t tell anyone how much pain she was in. Templin had
been dumped at the shelter as a “stray” with serious infections in her eyes and ears, and we can’t imagine how frightened she felt. When we visited the shelter, this matted, disheartened sweetheart immediately caught our eye. She was whimpering and shaking in the corner of her kennel, and we knew that this sweet, sensitive girl would be a perfect fit at Pasado’s
Dog Towne. And after some much-needed TLC,
Templin was cured – and she had a new leash on life.
When we travel to area shelters, we look for devoted dogs like Templin who adopters often pass by in favor of puppies. People don’t realize that the wisdom, patience, and love of a middle-aged or older dog make them ideal family pets, and we know that Templin will flourish with a loving family.

Templin is an eight-year-old Cocker Spaniel/Poodle mix who shows the best traits of both breeds. She is faithful and smart and has a warm heart. Templin has a shiny, curly black coat and “bangs” that fall over her brown eyes. Templin was brought into the shelter as a “stray,” but this well-mannered girl obviously belonged to someone at one time. She knows all of her commands, loves attention, and gets along well with feline family members. Templin is active and loves going for walks and she wriggles with delight at the sight of a human companion.
Templin is an affectionate girl who loves a great session of ear scratching or snuggling up next to a person, burrowing her head in the crook of their arm and doing her best “ostrich” imitation. When she peers out behind her head of curls, her loving eyes and sweet grey muzzle are an irresistible combination. This playful pup hopes to find a home where she can play, snuggle, and love for the remainder of her years.
Does your home have room for a devoted dog like Templin? If so,
please click here to start the adoption process. And if you’re not looking for a new addition to the family this holiday season, please consider
making a donation. Sweethearts like Templin suffer greatly when they are abandoned and they can’t ask for help themselves. With your support, though, we can continue to save sweet lives and provide top-notch medical care.
Thank you – from all of the devoted dogs here at Pasado’s Safe Haven!

(don't forget
to ask your employer to match your donation)
