Here at Pasado’s, we’re happy to provide rescue, medical care, and rehabilitation for all companion animals. Sometimes, though, the best help that we can provide is asking for a foster family – and that’s exactly what Eloise needs.
Eloise is a 9-year-old Labrador Retriever mix with an affable smile, a regal grey muzzle, and kind brown eyes. With her sleek black coat and her floppy ears, Eloise is both elegant and amusing. But behind that soft, warm smile, this sweet senior had been suffering in silence.
Shortly after we rescued this gentle girl, we noticed that she was experiencing difficulty walking. An examination by our veterinarian revealed that she needed two knee surgeries. While we’re happy to provide Eloise with the surgeries that she needs, her healing process will require the love and warmth of a household. Rehabilitation is equal parts physical and emotional, and the support of a loving family will help Eloise feel whole once again.

Eloise has all of the traits that you could ask for in a family pet: she’s sweet, friendly, quiet, and calm. She enjoys going for strolls and loves to show off her excellent leash manners. We know that after her surgery, Eloise will need to take it slow, but she’ll rediscover the joys of long walks with a special someone.
