Bobby “Barker” earned his nickname because he’s a talkative guy who’d love you to “Come on down” to Dog Towne to meet him. And Bobby has a lot to say! He’s most chatty when he has an audience with a human who loves to listen.
Bobby is a 12-year-old Labrador Retriever mix who was picked up as a “stray” at a local shelter. But we know that this sweet boy wasn’t really a stray; his personable nature shows us that he’s accustomed to being someone’s loving companion. When we first met him, Bobby had a growth
on his tail that was in dire need of removal, but he never ceased to smile or “talk.” We suspect that he was abandoned because his owners didn’t want to deal with his medical issues. We can never understand why a loving family member is dumped at their time of greatest need, but we're here to make sure that these deserving dogs receive their second chance.
We’re happy to report that Bobby is doing well
here at Dog Towne. He has recovered from a tail amputation as a result of the growth that had to be removed. What he can’t relate in a wagging tail he
surely communicates with shining eyes, happy barks,
and a constant smile.

Bobby is an enthusiastic guy who loves to please. His happy demeanor seems to be with him at all times and this silly, loveable boy is a sucker for attention. He especially enjoys going out for walks and spending quality time with our volunteers and staff. He looks around as if to say, “Isn’t this exciting?” Every outing with Bobby is precious, but a forever family would be the best prize of all for him.
Does Bobby sound like he’s the right fit for
your family? If so,

if you’re not ready to add to the family at
this time, please consider making a
donation. We find sweet seniors like Bobby
every week. They’ve been abandoned at their
time of greatest need, but here at Pasado’s,
they receive the medical care that they so
badly need. Your support can save the next
“Bobby,” providing a deserving animal with
the second chance that they so deserve. Life
and love are the best “prizes” of all. Thank
you - from all of the animals here at
Pasado’s Safe Haven.

(don't forget
to ask your employer to match your donation)
