Pasado's Safe Haven:
Home to rescued dogs, cats, cows, chickens, ducks, goats, turkeys, pigs, and donkeys. |
Not all “gifts” come wrapped and tied with a bow.
For several children in the northwest, they know the impact of giving what they have
received. Generosity is its own reward.
Love is placing others’ needs above your own, giving what you can, and helping when you are able.
As a non-profit organization, we are always in need of volunteers and donations.
And we were especially inspired to receive some
gifts from local children. These deeds were
mighty in spirit and were performed with great
love and generosity.
Pasado's Sends out a BIG THANKS to the children
that are making an effort to help animals in
need!
At seven years of age, Surniva knows how far a dollar can stretch at Pasado’s Safe Haven.
This generous little girl donated money to Pasado’s and then she drew a picture of all of
her animals (images below). We keep her beautiful pictures as a reminder of her generosity and love.
Ava, an eleven-year-old girl, has a true entrepreneurial spirit!
She sold paintings of her animals (image
below left) and then donated the proceeds to
Pasado’s. Way to go, Ava! She also drew a picture of her pet chicken,
Domino (image below right) for us to hang up in the People Barn. Thank you Ava, our animals all bark, moo, quack, and meow
their thanks!
Miya is a 13-year-old girl who has donated her birthday gifts to Pasado’s for two years in a row!
We are awed at her maturity, generosity, and love of animals. Her donated dollars will go directly
toward life-saving efforts. Thank you, Miya!
Anika has also donated her birthday gifts to Pasado’s. She asked her friends and family members to donate to Pasado’s or to purchase dog-related gifts. Afterward, Anika
drew us a card (image below left) and delivered the
card, gifts, and donations in person to Pasado’s founder, Susan Michaels
(image below right). Thank mew, Anika! Pasado's
appreciates your sweet spirit and love for the
animals.

Would your child or class like to be a part of “Kids for Pasado’s?” It’s an excellent way to learn about our feathered, furred, and
hoofed friends, and it also reinforces responsibility, generosity, and a love of life.

And thank you to all of the generous children who contributed to Pasado’s. Your generosity is a wonderful example to be followed by all. In a day and age where many still think that “more is more,” you have seen that more is actually in giving – and that the gift of life and love is its own reward.
Make a difference today.

(don't forget
to ask your employer to match your donation)
