Beautiful
People Helping Animals!
The Stella Center recently hosted an event of
beauty, benevolence, and bliss – and donated
every dime to help save lives! We can’t think of
a better way to celebrate inner and outer beauty
or to be thankful for the generosity of friends,
neighbors, and fellow animal lovers…
Dr. Stella and her team volunteered their time and proceeds to help the amazing animals at Pasado’s Safe Haven. Dr. Stella offered facial treatments, donating all of her profits to Pasado’s. Vendors Heather Jackson and Lisa Debiec graciously donated their products for the fund-raising event, and Glenn Gustafik of Guilt Edge Society Salon offered consultations, bang trims, and blowouts for $20, donating every penny to Pasado’s. And we can use every penny! As always, we’ll make sure that this money is well-spent, going toward life-saving efforts and the continued care of our long-term residents.
We are awed by their generosity and amazed by their talent.
To celebrate this special event, Pasado’s volunteers brought in two of our foster dogs. Teddy was
one of six dogs recently rescued from a hoarder (read his story here), and Harriette was rescued from an area shelter (read her story here). These happy hounds were delighted to help host this event and gladly gave some “lap time.” The Pasado’s volunteers were happy to field questions from clients and let our pleased pups mingle with clients and staff.
It was an amazing event: great food, wonderful wine, beautiful people, and a spirit of benevolence whose impact will reach far and wide.
Thank you, Dr. Stella, Heather, Lisa, Glenn, and all who donated their time and talent to this brilliant and benevolent event.
