A sanctuary is a place of refuge and immunity.
None of us are immune from pain, fear, and suffering. But having a place of refuge – for humans and animals alike – provides a little slice of heaven for all who visit. The residents here at Pasado’s take refuge at our sanctuary for many reasons: they are surrendered by their owners or victims of natural disasters; homeless or neglected; sick, old, incontinent or otherwise “unadoptable;” or neglected and abused by those who should have loved them the most.
But then they find sanctuary.
Three times a year, the Pasado’s Safe Haven’s animals and staff share our sanctuary with the public. At this special event, our visitors get to see first-hand why we work so hard to save these animals. And the animals get to show their thanks with moos, barks, mews, whinnies, and quacks!
Don’t miss your chance to participate in the last PasadoTour of the year. Our autumn tours are a wonderful way to ring in the school year, remember how important life is, and be thankful for miracles, small and large.
It doesn’t matter where our animals have
been; here, in a sanctuary of love, peace,
and acceptance, they are appreciated for who
they are. Wounds, psychological and
physical, heal with the love of our staff,
volunteers, and the other animals.
Come and see the miracles that unfold at
this special sanctuary. Sign up today – it
will be one of the most memorable
experiences of the year!
