Good-lookin’ Levi

Levi brings new meaning to the term “good looking.” Not only is this 1 ½ year-old boy handsome from the inside out, he has also recently undergone eye surgery.

Levi is a charming young boy who has been on the lookout for his new family. Loving and always curious, Levi is a lab mix who enjoys all the new things that life has to offer. He’s overjoyed when he sees new visitors at Dog Towne, and he’s so eager to please!

But we had recently noticed that Levi’s eyes were droopy and watering so much that it looked as if he had tears streaming down his face. This was a cause for concern. A veterinary consultation confirmed that Levi suffered from a disorder called Entropion eye, which is a condition in which the eyelid is turned inward causing the lashes to irritate the eye. Levi needed eye surgery.

When we rescue animals from shelters and cases of abuse and neglect, we take the “whole package:” the good with the bad. It is our mission to save those who might fall through the cracks, and it is our vision to give them a voice. We’re so happy to have the resources to save lives – and to make forgotten animals feel whole once again.

Levi dreams of being the permanent sidekick for an active and adventurous owner. This outdoorsy guy has a new leash on life! His vision is restored and he’s living in comfort once again.

While he enjoys exploring, Levi also appreciates curling up with his favorite human, soaking up all the attention that he can possibly get. His grateful gaze shows hope and devotion, but it also pays testament to the generosity and dedication of our supporters.

Levi's eyes are open and full of light; they are the window to his soul. A dog like Levi can help us see what it means to truly love. And thanks to your support, Levi can see the love reflected back.
