The success of a non-profit like Pasado’s Safe Haven relies largely upon the generosity and partnership of dedicated volunteers. That’s why we felt so fortunate when some hard-working members of Genie Industries came to help us prepare for our summer tour.

Genie Industries instills a “spirit of partnership” behind everything that they do – and this was evident when they partnered with Pasado’s Safe Haven.
Genie Industries is a Global company that has been deeply connected to their customers for more than 43 years. That deep connection was evident when they helped us spread hog’s fuel, a type of mulch, across the sanctuary grounds. Our animals felt the connection, too: the Pasado’s sanctuary residents enjoyed spending some quality time with the Genie Team, sharing carrots, smiles, and lots of love.
The Genie Team got “down and dirty” while they enjoyed some good, clean fun.
Volunteering can be hard on your soles, but it’s good for the soul. And, as the Genie Team learned, there’s nothing quite like the gratitude of a thankful animal accompanied by the results of a hard day’s work.
Operating a successful animal sanctuary means providing continuous care for our lifelong residents while supporting those residents who will someday move on. Our volunteers are a pivotal part of this commitment – and they help us to fulfill our mission statement of saving those who would otherwise fall through the cracks.

Our goats loved kidding around – Rudy (image

Thank you, Genie Industries! Pasado’s felt the your connection and enjoyed sharing in your spirit of partnership.
Would you (or your company) like to participate in a “work party” here at the sanctuary?
If so, please
email our Volunteer Director to find out more.
And if you’re short on time, but long on love, please consider making a donation here. There’s nothing like the feeling of knowing you have helped save a life. Make a difference today.

(don't forget
to ask your employer to match your donation)
