Dogs Have Wishes, Too.
Our Six Little Miracles have finally made it to their forever homes. Here at Pasado’s Safe Haven, this is a cause for celebration! These six pups survived the worst case of dog neglect that we had ever encountered, and now they have made it through the rehabilitation process and into forever homes. It has truly been a miraculous experience.
Joel and JoLynn are the proud new parents of Joey
(image below left) and KC (image below
right). While it took Joey awhile to adjust at first, he’s becoming more comfortable in his new home. Joey hadn’t had a “dad” before, and he had to learn
how to love and trust his new family. These happy hounds have a large backyard at their disposal, and they certainly make use of it! They love romping at top speed, feeling the grass on the pads of their feet and the wind in their fur.

Daisy and Teddy were adopted by their new parents, Kelli and Ward
(images below). The new owners report that the two happy pups have a large backyard to play and romp in to their heart’s content.
Daisy had been struggling with an old leg injury, and while she was in Pasado’s care, it was decided that an amputation was the best course of action. The old fractures in her leg caused her a great amount of pain, and while the surgery was costly, we knew that it was the right solution for Daisy. Here at Pasado’s, we strive to provide the best possible care for our residents, and we are able to provide medical solutions, including surgeries, that many shelters cannot. Daisy is doing well post-surgery and she’s “trucking right along” on her three legs with her best buddy, Teddy.
Surgeries like Daisy's can be costly. If you

Snickers’ new mom is named Traci
(image below left), and this lucky pup has the pleasure of accompanying his mom at work. Snickers wakes Traci up every morning with enthusiastic kisses, and Traci reports that he is much better than an alarm clock! We definitely agree.
Mac’s new family is Kecia, Doug, and their daughter, Ellie. Mac (image
below right) also has a new two-year-old Havanese “brother” named Toby. Ellie has participated in numerous training classes with Toby, and she reports that Toby is very well-behaved. Ellie
is looking forward to starting classes with Mac, as well. We’re sure that Mac agrees.
We can’t wait to see how things continue to bloom for these pups. Here at Pasado’s, the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming
of animals is our forte – and we are so glad that our six miracles have
made it “home.”
We still have many deserving dogs who are waiting to find their forever families.
