Six Little Miracles

Our day at the Park was featured in the Seattle Times (image above).

We were with these six sweethearts on every step of their healing journey, watching them go from rags to riches. The Little Miracles made giant leaps with their progress, learning what it meant to accept human touch, run, and play. We watched as they stretched their legs in amazement, free from their hindering fur mats for the first time in years. Their courage often brought tears to our eyes.

The Six Little Miracles recently enjoyed an official “coming out” party where they got to play at nearby Denny Park. It was probably the first time in their lives that they were afforded such a wonderful opportunity. And did they ever love it! This “play day” was filled with barks, smiles a mile wide, and feeling the grass on their feet and the wind on their faces. And our human visitors
had a great time, too!

The six friends all wore adorable “Adopt Me” bandanas, announcing their status change from “Almost Adoptable” to “Homeward Bound!” While we will miss the spunk, spirit, and sweetness of these six darlings, we know that it is time to send them on to their forever homes.

Do you think that your home has room for a “miracle?” If so, please click here to find out how to start the adoption process.

Pasado's volunteers and guests enjoy a chat at the park and a cuddle with these sweet dogs who didn't even seem to mind the rain (image above left). Kristin P. talks to the media about how far these "Six Little Miracles" have come (image above right).
