Two of our rescued Shih Tzus have made some amazing steps on their healing journey
When we first
brought Daisy, Snickers, and Teddy to Pasado's
Safe Haven, they were shy, scared, and
cowered in the corners of our Dog Caretaker's
cabin. After years of neglect from an alleged
hoarder, trauma and neglect had taken their toll on these sensitive sweethearts.
For the first couple of days, they didn't do
much but sleep. But if you go visit them now,
the difference is night and day. They are all
active, happy, and wiggle with glee when anyone
goes to see them. They soak up the sunlight, and
take full advantage of their soft, warm beds.
The These sweet souls have come so far from that
heartbreaking day when they were rescued. Their
progress could
bring anyone to tears.
This is what Pasado's fights for. To be the
voice of animals who have no voice.
Images are worth a thousand words. Just look
at Teddy and Snickers enjoying their first walks
(images below).

While Teddy and Snickers are learning to walk on a leash, Daisy is recuperating from a badly injured foot. We
are anticipating the day that she, too, will soon learn how to walk on a leash. Daisy is scheduled with a specialist to see what can be done to decrease her pain and increase her mobility.
Our six little miracles continue to inspire us. With each new day, they are showing us their resilience, spirit, and desire to be loved, and every step on their path of healing is an important one.
Stay tuned for next
week when all six dogs get their professional
grooming!
PLEASE
