A group of
bankers take a step back from "neat and tidy"
and get "down and dirty" at Pasado's Safe Haven!
What happens when you take 20 bank employees from their corporate environment and put them
to work on an animal
sanctuary in the rain? No, it wasn’t another reality show! It was a volunteer work
party with some very
generous Bank of New York Mellon staff members.
The Bank of New York Mellon (Seattle) is a successful asset management and securities services company.
When they came out to Pasado’s Safe Haven, they brought together a work party of 20
hardworking and dedicated people.
Their ability to focus on the task ahead and reap rewards was immediately apparent. Boy, did this wonderful
group do a ton of work! They spent their Saturday getting muddy and taking care of some
much-needed projects.
There was no task too
difficult or dirty for this tireless bunch!
They helped with sanctuary clean-up, building a new chicken coop, and cleaning up the pig pen.
But the help didn't stop there. They also helped fill Dog Towne's holes with bark and helped us
spruce up for summer – and the sanctuary looked beautiful afterward!
We can't say enough good things about this
group of volunteers. We all hope to see you
again soon!
Volunteers help make Pasado's Safe Haven the success that it is. It's hard work, but it warms
the heart and soul – and every animal is so very appreciative.
