She loved animals in life, and
in her honor, her family & friends now support
them with her passing.
"Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather
openings in Heaven where the love of our lost
ones pours through and shines down upon us to
let us know they are happy."
Her father wanted more than flowers that would fade. When his beloved daughter, Katelyn Gayle, passed
suddenly, there was only one thing that came to mind to honor such a gentle life: to give life.
All of us at Pasado’s Safe Haven wanted to let Katelyn’s mother and father know how profoundly
touched we are to have been included in his lovely daughter’s memorial.
Our deepest sorrows are extended to Katelyn’s family. We commit to stretching every penny donated on
her behalf to assure we help as many animals as possible.
We believe that Katelyn walks beside Pasado. And her cat, Kes, will one day join her,
and they will
be together once again.
Heaven must be an amazingly peaceful place to be, surrounded by gentle innocents – so
far "above" many
here who share what we call life.

I cannot express the profound grief that I feel for your loss - of course no
words can come close to what you are experiencing.
I know from years of animal rescue, that simply living, can be so difficult.
But there is still so much
beauty in the world and
Katie's love for animals
will live on. And I'm sure
you celebrate not only her
beautiful life, but her
journey to a peaceful place.
Everyone here at Pasado's Safe Haven
has you in their thoughts. We know
Katie now walks with
innocent souls, you will meet again one day.
