AARFF: Adoptable Cats

Nestled in the peace of tall shade trees and situated on the side of a mountain, Kitty City rises. Cats live in a 28' x 48' house with separate rooms for FIV and FeLV cats. The best part is all the cats are able to venture outside, into a huge wooded area, climb trees, spread out in the sun, or lay under cover of a big, covered deck on rainy days. Secure fencing protects them from harm and keeps them safe. They can go outside
24-hours-a-day if they wish!

Mittens

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

Mittens is always dressed to impress. From her elegantly striped coat to her beauty mark, she’s a gorgeous little gal. And her heart is beautiful, too. Unfortunately, for the first year of her life, she lived in a feral colony with her brother, Hershey. Mittens is friendlier than her brother, but she’s still a bit on the shy side. She likes to spend much of her time outside, but we know that she’d love to find warmth and love in her forever home.

Hershey

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

This sweet little boy was rescued along with his sister, Mittens. Hershey is only a little over a year old.  They we found living in a feral colony in the Seattle area. It was fortunate that Pasado's was there with open arms, because someone was trying to catch Hershey and Mittens to euthanize them. Hershey is still very shy and spends most of his time outdoors, but we know that with some TLC, this handsome boy’s heart will melt for his special someone.

Oreo

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

Her black and white coloring makes Oreo an appropriate name for this double stuffed sweetie. She came to us from a local shelter. A large infected wound was found on her neck. She was treated and went to a temporary foster home to heal. Her former foster mom said that she is a very affectionate and loving cat. Oreo’s ideal home would include a comfy bed where she can snooze the afternoon away and a warm lap she can spend lazy nights.

Missy

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

If you are looking for a lap cat, Missy is your girl! She is at her happiest when she can snuggle up with her person for a good session of TLC. Not only does Missy have sparkling blue eyes, but she has beautiful markings too! If there were such a thing as a peach tortoise shell, that’s how we would describe her. She is a mellow girl and gets along well with other cats.

Shazam!

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

Shazam is one of those kitties who will not let you get away without a rub, a head bonk, a high-jack! Shazam is love, through and through. And we're so happy that this kitty is here at Pasado's - statistically black cats (and dogs) are the first to be euthanized at shelters. And although this sweetheart could live forever here, we believe Shazam deserves a lap - a forever lap. Is yours available?

Bonita

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

4-yr old Bonita (which means "pretty" in Spanish) was left to die in a locked and abandoned apartment. She was rescued just in time and promptly gave birth to 2 babies as soon as she arrived at Kitty City. Bonita is now spayed, healthy, and full of life. She's talkative, loving and very affectionate. She still maintains a playful kittenish attitude and is known to take a playful swipe at unsuspecting targets.  Come and meet this lovely girl!

Bart

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

Hi all, my name is Bart and I'm looking for a home. I'm young (3-5 yrs old) and very playful. I'm what you would call semi-feral (I don't feel quite comfortable being picked up--yet). With the right person I know I can overcome this small obstacle. If I had my choice of homes, I'd pick one that was quiet. If I had my choice of humans, I'd pick the one who was gentle, loving and extremely patient. I need to feel safe and secure. Please come out and meet me!

Luke

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

A tough guy on the outside and a shameless softie on the inside ”that's Luke!" Luke has FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) which is not transmissible to people or dogs, but can be spread to other cats through bite wounds. FIV cats have weakened immune systems but can live long happy lives with proper care. Luke has a zest for food, affection, catnip, people and everything good life has to offer! The only thing missing is a true home and the love of his very own person.

Jackson

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

My name is Jackson and I'm looking for a human to call my own. I'm an adult semi-feral kitty but I'm friendly. I'm not particularly comfortable with humans picking me up--but that can all be worked out (with patience and love). I'm quite the handsome guy. Sleek and shiny--that's me! Please come out and meet me. Boy would I love to go home with you!

Lisa

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

MEOW! My name is Lisa. I'm a 4 year old (semi-feral) little gal. I'm not yet comfortable with being picked up. But we can and will work that out when the times comes. I'm up for a change. I want a home. A good home. A loving home. If you have a big heart, an empty home and no one to keep you company--I could be just what the doctor ordered! Please come over, say hi, stay a while. I'd love to meet you!

Shay

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

Shay is yet another kitty left behind when her family moved away and abandoned her. She was left in a filthy apartment to fend for herself, where she waited until help arrived in the form of a good Samaritan. Shay is looking for a truly permanent home this time with a family who will love and value her. She would do best as an only cat or with a very mellow friend as she likes to be the alpha kitty.

Pepper

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

9 yr old Pepper was dumped by her owner simply because she was no longer wanted. As you can imagine, her little heart is broken. She’s such a lovely girl with a very sweet personality. Are you the one to bring love and happiness back into her life? To meet her, click here!

Mama

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

She had borne a litter of feral kittens when a sweet woman found her and her young. They were brought to Pasado's Safe Haven so they wouldn't have to survive in the wild. The kittens were all adopted into wonderful homes, but Mama stayed here. She's so beautiful and loves to come running when visitors come to Kitty City.

Homer

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

Short, Dark & Very Handsome male seeking loving human companion. I'm a neutered male and my sign is Cancer. I'm a real homeboy! I love spending quiet nights at home with my favorite human friends. I also have FIV, but don't let that scare you away. I just need a home where I can be the only cat, though I can share a home with other FIV cats. Please consider sharing your life with an adorable guy like myself. I'm affectionate, low maintenance and easy to get along with. What more could you ask for?

Penelope

  Adopt a Dog

If you're looking for a beautiful, sweet-natured cat with lots of love to give, Penelope's your girl! With her polydactyl paws, she will lavish her affection by kneading up a storm on any accommodating lap. Penelope has the Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), which is not transmissible to people or dogs but can be transmitted to other cats through bite wounds. Cats with FIV have weakened immune systems but can live long, happy lives with proper care. And at just 2 years of age, Penelope is looking forward to lots of years ahead of affection and companionship in a home of her own.

Magoo

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

Come meet our dear Mr. Magoo! Magoo was rescued from a horribly neglectful situation with his friends Hamlet and Shadow and is still somewhat shy, but is discovering the joys of a warm, safe environment, steady meals, toys to play with, and friendly people. He is used to living with other cats and has no known health issues.

Shadow

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

Shadow was rescued from a horribly neglectful situation with his friends Hamlet and Magoo. Not having had much human attention, Shadow can be a bit shy and fearful, but when he feels safe, he shows his cuddly, snuggly side. Shadow truly longs for the family he has never had and hopes for a quiet home where he can feel confident, loved and allowed to interact on his own terms.

Hamlet

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

Dashing Hamlet was rescued from a life
of severe neglect with his friends Magoo and Shadow. Although still shy, Hamlet has discovered the joy of life and is looking for a home where his loving nature and playfulness can be nurtured and flourish. Hamlet is used to living with other cats, has impeccable house manners and has no health issues.

Michael

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

Michael has that irresistible combination of the cutest face and sweetest disposition, wrapped in a cuddly orange and white coat and ready to charm his way into your heart. Michael has the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), but don't let this scare you off from giving this lovely boy a home -- with proper care, a stress-free home environment and a healthy diet, Michael has all the potential in the world to live a long, happy life. FIV is not transmissible to people or dogs, but can spread to other cats through bite wounds.

Sweetheart

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

No other name could be as perfect for this little sweetheart who is not only friendly and affectionate but also a dainty, delicate beauty. Sweetheart, along with her brother Nubs, is looking for a forever home where she can be a loved and loving family member. Sweetheart is even more special in that she was born with 3 legs, but this has no effect whatsoever on her health or ability to get around.

Nubs

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

You won't meet a more gregarious, gorgeous boy than Nubs! Nubs has had it rough -- born with 3 legs to begin with (as was his sister Sweetheart), his stub leg had to be amputated due to an injury. But Nubs thinks he's perfect and we would have to agree. He gets around just fine and is as active and happy as any young cat could be. The only thing missing in his life is a home of his own and a family to love.

Minnie

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

A little precocious, a little naughty, a lot of spunk all wrapped up in a petite package. About 4 years old, she has lived most of her life in the sanctuary office, supervising the staff, lounging on the back of their chairs, and giving them a good back scratch for work well done – or whenever the mood strikes her. Minnie is ready to retire from her duties as an office cat and move into a comfy home where she can put her management skills to use with a new family. Minnie has the feline leukemia virus and will require a healthy diet and supplements to keep her strong and healthy. She is fun-loving, full of life and has so much love to give.

Tara

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

Our little Miss Sweet n' Sassy. Tara spends her days in the People Barn as one of our office cats. She is quick to purr and loves a good chin scratch, though she's known to knock things off desks and walk across key boards when not getting enough attention. Tara has the feline leukemia virus or FeLV, but with appropriate care FeLV cats can remain in good health for many years. Tara is looking for a home of her own where she can rule the roost.

Ryan

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

Ryan is a dashing grey and white fellow. He loves attention and is quick to let you know when you aren’t giving him enough! A warm lap and a few cat treats and Ryan is in pure bliss. He came to us from another shelter with his partner, Farrah. They dream of finding someone who has enough love for the both of them.

Marco

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

Marco is a truly a treasure. He is a sedate, mellow guy who gets along great with just about everybody, both human and feline. He has the most gorgeous blue eyes with just a touch of glaucoma which requires easily administered eye drops. Marco also has the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. FIV is not transmissible to people or dogs though it is transmittable to other cats through serious bite wounds. If placed with another mellow cat with the assurance that the cats will not fight, Marco can be placed in a home with other non FIV cats.

Decker

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

Decker is a little on the shy side, but once he has you figured out, he is a lover boy. Decker is a big boy, about 14 lbs, who loves to have his tummy rubbed and will call out for you when he sees you. And he has the cutest little goatee! Decker is quite the gentleman and has no known health issues.

Serena

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

This beautiful calico girl was rescued from a shelter where she had been living in a small cage for 6 months. She was in a great deal of pain from 2 cracked teeth. After having the damaged teeth extracted by our vet, you can tell she is much happier. You can often find her curled up in a cozy spot and enjoying a leisurely nap. Serena is a bit shy and would do best in a home with another non-aggressive cat.

Pierce

Foster a Dog Adopt a Dog

Weighing in at 15 pounds, Pierce is large and in charge! He came to us from another shelter where he was confined to a small cage. He is now enjoying his freedom and showing that he has a very confident personality. He was not shy around the sanctuary photographer and gladly stretched out outside and posed for his photo session. Pierce is an absolute lover and will curl up in your arms and turn on his motor as soon as you start petting him.

Otis

At about 10 years old, Otis is wonderful and wise and ready for a loving home. Although rescued from deprivation and squalor, he is sweet, calm, and very much a people cat -- friendly, affectionate and quite the purr machine. He may be a senior citizen, but Otis has lots of living to do to make up for his past, and even more love to give. He would do well in just about any gentle home environment.

Larry

Larry is a big, affectionate, handsome boy with the most beautiful green eyes you have ever seen. He will steal your heart with his loving gaze, rumbling purr, and the gentle manner in which he seeks attention. A word of warning though -- Get him feeling really content, and he turns into a big drool-machine! Larry can be shy and is easily startled by loud and unfamiliar noises and activity so would do best in a home without small children, but once in a home, he will no doubt turn into a confident companion in no time at all.  He also gets along great with other cats.

Autumn

Autumn lived in a feral colony and is very shy, but is starting to learn that people aren't so bad after all. She is very receptive and responsive to attention and petting and just needs that special someone in her life who will love her unconditionally and give her all the time she needs to come into her own. Autumn prefers a home without small children and dogs.
