Dog and Puppy Adoption
There are many special dogs waiting for a family of their own
Pasado’s Safe Haven rescues dogs and puppies from a variety of situations, and then rehabilitates them at our sanctuary, just northeast of Seattle, while we search for a home. With each dog who is adopted into a loving family, Pasado’s Safe Haven is able to rescue another.
Adult Dog (6 months - 8 years)
Valentino
AGE: 9 Months
SEX: Male
Valentino arrived to Pasado’s after being found as a stray. The first thing you may notice about him (other than his adorable ears) is that he has some patches of missing hair. We aren’t sure if this is due to poor nutrition as a young puppy, or if he is mixed with a hairless dog breed, but he has received a clean bill of health from our veterinary team.
Valentino is a very sweet guy that loves attention and playing with toys. He will make a great hiking buddy as he walks well on lead and is always up for an adventure. He is looking for someone that will provide him with lots of positive reinforcement as he is still a puppy and will need to learn how to live in a home.
Arthur
AGE: 7 Months
SEX: Male
Meet Arthur! This sweet, mixed breed pup is social and eager to please. He loves to go for walks and explores his world with a vibrant curiosity. Potential adopters should be ready to give lots of positive reinforcement to guide him through his puppy stage and beyond.
Loki
AGE: 1 Year
SEX: Male
Loki is a sweet, good natured pittie looking for an active home. He walks well on lead and enjoys going for long walks, so a human companion that is ready for hiking and adventures would be a great match. Loki also likes to play ball but hasn't quite mastered the "fetch" part of the game just yet.
Loki would likely do best in a home with children that are 13+ due to his size and bounciness.
Dingo
AGE: 2.5 Years
SEX: Male
Dingo is a medium-sized young dog who loves exploring Pasado’s hiking trails. He’s full of wiggly enthusiasm and loves walkies. He offers adorable play bows and leans into new friends. He can be filled with nervous excitement, “What’s this? What’s this?” and would love a confident human friend to introduce him to new things, a fun routine, and a loving home!
Poppy
AGE: 7 Years
SEX: Female
Poppy is a sweet and social girl who has loved meeting all sorts of people. She walks well on lead and would likely make a great hiking buddy! Poppin' Poppy has a spring-loaded step, so a yard with a tall fence would be optimal. While she is an absolute doll with people, she has shown to be selective about meeting other dogs.
Gus & Lala
AGE: 8 Years
SEX: M & F
Gus and Lala are a sweet, bonded pair that are looking for a home together. They can be a little nervous with new people at first, but once they feel safe, they welcome the world with happy relaxed open mouths and gentle wags of their curly tails. Gus loves peanut butter and taking baths and Lala is always ready for play time.
Fredrick "Freddy"
AGE: 2 Years
SEX: M
Fredrick, whose caregiver has lovingly nicknamed him "Ready Freddy," is a sweet good-natured dog who loves to play frisbee, fetch, and go for hikes. He’s looking for an active, outdoors companion and would love a home with a big backyard –perfect for games together! He’s bright and easily motivated with treats, toys, playtime, and affection.
Scotland "Scotty"
AGE: 2.5 Years
SEX: Male
Scotty is an adorable 72lb, 2-year-old pitty mix that is healthy, smart, and social. Scotty is looking for a strong and confident dog person. He is easily motivated (by both food and attention) and has completed basic manners training. He has done well meeting 2 other dogs here and has done parallel walks, so he would likely do okay in a home with another dog. We would not recommend Scotty go to a home with cats. Because of his size, a home that has children would be best if they were 12+.
Victims of Cruelty
AGE: Ranges
SEX: Male and Female
Hi – I’m Banjo, the "Victims of Cruelty" representative! I was adopted from Pasado’s Safe Haven a long time ago and I am here to tell you about some other AMAZING dogs they have at the sanctuary but aren’t able to show you yet.
Pasado’s Safe Haven rescues animals from criminal cases of neglect/cruelty. Sometimes these animals are not able to be seen by the public until they are released by the court system. While I can’t show you them yet, trust me – they will melt your heart! Some are big, some are small – all are lovable!
They get excellent care and of course lots of love. I can show you their picture as soon as the case against the person who caused them harm is completed. So please check back frequently…and tell your friends too! My friends look forward to meeting you soon!
