Every Saturday is a
Work Party Saturday!
|
|
|
City
folk become farm hands and pitch in doing everything from painting
to building fencing. What a great feeling it is to have
"like-minded" people who all love animals, working for a
common goal! Like Gabi, Anne, Lauren and Jill, left. What a great group
of friends who came out last Saturday, worked in the pouring rain, and
helped us so much! How often did they ever get to spend time with
chickens before?! They also had tons of feel-good time with the dogs of
A.A.R.F.F. and all the other animals, too! |

Welcome to a
Saturday at Pasado's Safe Haven! - an incredible
day of labor of love for the animals. Your muscles may be tired at day's end, but your heart will be filled with great
memories and stories to tell once you return to 'your world'. And we promise,
you'll come back for more! |

We
see the same faces back time and again, and for one reason: there
isn't a better way to spend a Saturday - at a beautiful sanctuary,
tucked into the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, and filled with
happy, rescued animals.

What
to Bring
- A great attitude & a big smile (if you hate to get dirty or work hard,
don't come!)
- Willingness to tackle any assigned task
- Love of animals, willingness to get licked by a cow, kissed by a hen!
- Work gloves (non-leather, or the cows will protest!)
- Every animal (even the dogs!) love carrots!
Chickens love grapes! Goats love dried apricots!
And we always need canned cat food with pop-top lids for the kitties! |
