See how kids
from across the country help Pasado's Safe Haven in some very creative ways! |
|
|
Melani K. did
a beautiful thing, something few young people ever think of
doing...instead of asking her friends for birthday gifts, she asked them
to donate to Pasado's Safe Haven. We were so touched by this act of
kindness - and compassion. She and all of her friends, left, came
out to Pasado's and visited the animals they will be helping. Purrs,
moos, and cock-a-doodle doo's to Melani and all of her pals! |
The students at
Evergreen Academy (right) in Kirkland, WA worked their "tails" off for the animals at Pasado's Safe Haven.
First they sponsored a dozen of our animals by "adopting"
them. Then they went about raising funds to donate!
Using cans, jars, paper bags,
and anything
and everything, they went door-to-door and raised over $800!

| After the
students raised funds, they were rewarded with a trip to Pasado's Safe
Haven to meet the animals they helped! |

First Grade Class
from Steubenville, Ohio
raised hundreds of dollars to help our rescued
animals!
Dear Pasado's Safe Haven...
Our first graders at Buena Vista School wanted to do something to make the world a better place.
So we sold freezer-pops at our school to earn money to help your animals! We want to nurture a feeling
of caring in our young pupils. By doing this, we hope that these children will
grow up to care for all the creatures that share the Earth as their home.
Sincerely,
Bonita Lucci, 1st Grade Teacher, Steubenville, Ohio |
| Not all
efforts need to be in a group...this young girl, right, collected
dog and cat food for a month. Then she and her mom visited a work party,
volunteered for an entire day, and left a ton of food for the rescued
animals! |

| Come up with a
unique idea, put it to work, and help the animals! Then let us know about
it by e-mailing us here! |
