Why do you want to volunteer at Pasado's Safe Haven?
Volunteers are asked to do just about anything and everything to help us support the animals. This can mean helping in the office writing out envelopes to scooping poop.

A.A.R.F.F. Dog Caretaker Cleaning dog cabins, walking dogs, general assisting dogs
9am -5pm  URGENT!  WEEK DAY HELP NEEDED!

Choose your starting date (this is the date that you will be trained for a specific job. You must show up and be prompt as long-time volunteers will be here to meet you.

Cat Caretaker: Cleaning, feeding cats in Kitty City and all barn ferals
Mornings available now: 10:00am-1:00pm
Afternoons available now: 2:00pm-5:00pm

Sanctuary volunteer: Cleaning barns, tending to farm animals, being outside in all weather.
Mornings 10:00am-1:00pm
Afternoons 1:00pm-4:00pm

Office Assistance: Answering phones, writing letters, cleaning, organizing

Volunteer Agreement:
I understand that the animals and the people at Pasado's Safe Haven depend on me if I commit to being a volunteer.
I understand I am expected to be at my shift and on-time unless there is an emergency. I will call the Sanctuary Manager if I cannot make it. (not e-mail)
I understand that Pasado's Safe Haven is located in Monroe (one hour from Seattle, 45 minutes from the Eastside in NON-rush hour). I have no problem with driving this far for my 3-month volunteer commitment.
I understand that the day of orientation I am expected to work. I will wear appropriate clothing and shoes/boots, bring work gloves, and be prepared to work until 3:00pm.

Washington State law requires us to conduct a background check on volunteers who will or may have unsupervised access to children under sixteen years of age, developmentally disabled persons, or vulnerable adults. All of our volunteers may be asked to work with those persons identified above. Therefore, we ask every volunteer to provide the necessary information to conduct a background check.

Your application, any additional information you provide, and the results of the background check are kept completely confidential.
