PROCESS:
The coordinator arrives approximately 6:45am and begins
the check-in process. Services are provided first come, first served and you
should be on location no later than 6:30am. Those
arriving before the coordinator are free to start a list of who arrives in which
order; however, preference may be made from some animals at the complete
discretion of the Spay Station staff. Arriving early, especially with dogs, is
strongly recommended. It is the responsibility of each client coming to
the Spay Station to ensure that once the coordinator arrives, they are checked
in and on the list.
The Spay Station arrives approximately 8am (traffic permitting) and after a
short set-up process, all of the animals having surgery are loaded. This is also
when a pick-up time will be announced.

FAQ:
Q.
My pet is in heat or pregnant. Can she still have surgery?
A.
Yes.
Q.
My cat has a litter of kittens that are still nursing. Can she have
surgery?
A.
Cats with a litter should not have surgery until the kittens are weaned
and eating only solid food. Don’t forget, we have a kitten special!
Bring in your mama cat to be spayed and we’ll spay/neuter the kittens at
no charge! Kittens must be 3 lbs for surgery.
Q.
It’s recommended I arrive early. Just how early do I need to arrive?
A.
It’s difficult to give an exact time as the number of people that arrive
early varies each day. Most clients arrive between 5am and 6:30am.
Q.
Do you keep my pet overnight?
A.
No. All pets must be picked up the day of surgery. A pick-up time will
be announced at load up time.
Q.
My pet just needs vaccinations or micro-chipping? Can I have those
services done at the Spay Station even though my pet isn't having
surgery?
A.
No.
All "additional services" listed
above are only available for pets having surgery on the Spay Station
except for flea control which can be purchased at any Spay Station
location at 8am.
