Two adorable horses, both rescued from neglect, really need your help.
We're not asking
for money - just land.
Tinky was rescued by Pasado's Safe Haven after we received calls from
people who
knew she needed help. She had been left in mud under the care of a woman
who was
homeless. The woman loved her horses but simply didn't have the means to
care for
them. Tinky lived with a foal, who we re-homed quickly. |

Pasado's Safe Haven is in pasture emergency right now. We just received
another 6" of
snow. We've had so much snow, which means muddy ground once it melts,
that we
cannot care for Tinky properly, nor for Goldie.
Dean Soloman, a woman
with a heart of gold, has been taking care of these two. She's also
taking care of about a billion other rescued equines who need help.
She's not a non-profit, yet she opens her heart and home to help. Now
that she's gotten Tinky & Goldie on their feet, we need to give her the
room to care for her rescued brood.
Above, Claire welcomes Tinky when she first came in so skinny. She looks beautiful now and Dean
says she's even jumping fences! |
|
 |
Goldie is a sway-back Palomino. She is as sweet as they come. She too
was in the care
of someone who could not provide for her. And even though we know that
both Goldie
and Tinky are safe now, they need firm, green pasture on which to
recover. We're full-to-the-brim with cows,
llamas, sheep, goats, and of course Chester and Babs, our long-time
equine residents. Can you help?
Or know of someone who has a few acres and a good shed or barn?
It
simply isn't fair to
have them live in less-than-ideal conditions. |

Please
e-mail us today if you
have a solution for these two babes.
Adoption Option
Of course, ultimately, we need to find Tiny & Goldie homes. If you have
been thinking about adding a horse to your family, now may be the time!
We would require a home-check and on-going visits. You would need
adequate pasture, fencing, and housing and of course, the ability to
care for them for life. Let
us know if you'd like to meet these girls! |
