We hope you will join us Saturday May
10th at the Hollywood Schoolhouse in Woodinville, 11-4pm.
We will be hosting an open house and barrel tasting of something new
in the 2006 line up – “Obsidian.”
This is a stunning, rich blend of Tempranillo, Syrah and Petit
Verdot from our 2006 vintage. We’re offering futures of the 2006
Obsidian at a 15%
discount as well as our standard 20% case and mixed case discount.
Release price for the 750 mL will be $29.99, or $25.49 on Saturday
May 10th. We will also have our 2005 reds and the 2006
Late Harvest Viognier available for tasting and purchase.
Wait!
There’s more.
For
years, Mike and I have been active supporters of
Pasado’s
Safe Haven Animal Rescue and Sanctuary. We really need your help. As
the credit fallout continues to rear its face, we at Pasado’s are
faced with an alarming number of rescues for abandoned and
surrendered animals due to foreclosures, families moving due to job
losses or relocation, or just belt-tightening measures. This is in
addition to the numerous animal cruelty cases we are faced with as
we do whatever we can to have those animals surrendered to the
sanctuary for a chance at a peaceful life. On the heels of all this,
donations are down across the board for charities, we know. But the
gift that Pasado’s trades for the plight of hundreds of animals, and
the chance for them to live peacefully, is richness all its own.
PLEASE JOIN
US SATURDAY MAY 10TH!
On Saturday May 10th,
please join us as we try to help more animals in need. Please come
and in lieu of a tasting fee, make a donation to Pasado’s. We will
have volunteers on site to share our mission with you. I’m certain
you will be compelled to join us any way you can. And, of course,
taste Northwest Totem Cellars wine, a light snack, mingle with Mike,
our winemaker and learn about some of our future releases and what’s
happening at the winery.
If
you’ve had enough wine tasting, PLEASE visit us nonetheless and help
us help the animals. 1,200 rescued animals in the aftermath of
Hurricane Katrina, victims of cruelty, neglect and abandonment in WA
state and around the country, rescues in the nick of time from last
minute euthanasia at shelters, escaped critters who’s will to live
got them from transport truck to Pasado’s…YOU NAME IT, WE’RE THERE
TO TAKE IT ON! But we really need your help.
With warm regards,
Mike & Kate Sharadin
