Pasado's beautiful
sanctuary in Spring |
Construction is a
Quackin!!!
but we need additional help!
by Jenny M, Farm Animal Manager
It’s finally spring and
Pasado’s Safe Haven has lots of fun building projects in the works for
all of our very special creatures, big and small. Earlier this year I
had a meeting with all the animals and we decided to spice up the farm a
bit with some fun new quarters and playing grounds.

The goats
chatted, in between chewing their cud, about a goat playground where
they can play like kids again. Read more about the goat playground
here and stay tuned for
an update on the goat playground soon! |

"Excuse me? Mud baths?
My time in the mud is like a day at the spa!" says Louise |
The pigs
snorted for more rooting grounds and bigger mud baths. |

Bessie would love to
have some new friends! |
The cows
yakked about how they would like to invite more cow friends someday and
want to prepare for them by building more sheds and having larger
pastures. |

Jenny & Caycee are
working on the new duck house while Beauty supervises
|
The ducks
all voted that they want a classier, more luxurious home to reside in
for the evenings. Here at Pasado’s, the animals get whatever they want,
so there was no arguing with any of them. So, we went to work right
away! |
|
We have
been working diligently on all of this, but it just isn’t happening fast
enough. Lets face it… there are only a few of us and so little time.
Even Beauty has been so supportive as to throw in a hand; she always
gives us her two cents worth and assures us things are looking good.
She is making a great supervisor now with the amount of construction she
is over seeing while following me around the farm. |

Tyrone and his ladies are anxiously waiting for a new house or "love
nest"! Can you help?
|
The ducks
have been flapping their wings at us and tooting their quacks, they are
very persistent. Tyrone and his ladies can’t wait for their first
romantic evening alone. Their friends Queen Elizabeth and Sir
Francis Drake are hoping to share the room next door. In the third
room, Gator and Robert Downy have put in their honks, but a final
decision hasn’t been made yet. They have all been supervising well
in our effort to complete their new abode, but they insist we need more
help.
Thanks to Erik at Elite Construction, our goat playground is
underway. But we still need more help!
If you have experience in
building and can help with the construction of our new duck house or any
of our new buildings or playgrounds please contact
