With Spring just around
the corner, we have some big time FUN planned for our goats! A new
place where they can kick up their heels and play!!!

It
was a rough, wet winter for our pastures. We are currently cleaning and
seeding the pastures and adding a little twist… a goat playground!!
Our goats have
always had dirt mounds and boulders to climb on, but it is time they are
completely spoiled! A playground will add different
stimulations and can provide a true enrichment opportunity for the
goats.
Have you thought about keeping your own pet stimulated? Indoor
cats love to experience smells from the great outdoors. Bring them
something from outside to investigate like a leaf, pinecone or a shell.
It will make their day! If you have a dog - get outside and take
them for a walk! Let them get in all of their sniffs!

All of the animals that
find their way to Pasado's sanctuary have suffered abuse or neglect of
some sort- and our goats are no different. We are pleased to have
the opportunity to give them a play area that will let them cut loose
and truly live life to the fullest! Can you you help us? We

The playground
will consist of:
a wooden sloped
ladder
a teeter totter
3 tier tower –
like lily pads where the goats can leap from one tier to another
Gripped elevated
walkway- 8 ft tall
And many old
wooden electrical wire spools |

Our
goats are currently "on vacation"
just a mile
away from the farm on a beautiful empty pasture until the goat
playground is done. They are soaking up the sun and enjoying a new
view… they even get to laugh and snicker at the horrible golfers next
door! |

image how surprised they will be to see their new toy? Keep
