The Spay Station heads south! |
We're elated to announce that the miracle that's been on-the-road since
2000, The Spay Station, will now move to Pierce County!
|

to "fix"
a dog or cat and prevent the birth of unwanted animals |
Of the 60,000 dogs, cats,
kittens, and puppies who are euthanized every year in shelters across
Washington State, approximately 9000 are euthanized in Pierce County.
Since a generous former Microsoft executive purchased a brand new,
bigger Spay Station for Pasado's Safe Haven in 2007, we're able to
"share the wealth". |

Special thanks to
Margaret, our wonderful Pasado's volunteer, who has spent many a day
helping us keep the Spay Station spic and span! And to Pam F,
Pasado's staffer, for all of her hard work and her never ending smile!

This weekend we spent
cleaning and primping our mobile clinic for the hand-off to The Dugan
Foundation, Pierce County Humane Society and Pierce County Animal
Control. We're offering the clinic at no charge to them and also secured
a $25,000 grant on their behalf to kick-off the project. The City of
Tacoma just matched the funds so they've got a great beginning! |

25,000 "speuters"
done to date!
The
Spay Station I has made 25,000 spays and neuters happen in King,
Snohomish, and Skagit Counties since its launch in 2000. Nearly 80% of
all the surgeries have been free-of-charge to pets of the low-income,
and at low cost to the working poor.
Sponsor
a Spay and Save a Life!
Celebrate the expansion of our mobile spay/neuter clinics by making a
donation to underwrite one spay/neuter. Just $35 "fixes" a dog or cat
and you'll get our beautiful, quarterly newsletter as a gift!
