Spay Station II Rides Again!

What does this soda-drinking Pit Bull, smiling Shih Tzu and sleepy Tabby have in common?

They are all lucky to have responsible owners who got them up at the crack of dawn for a trip to Pasado’s Safe Haven’s Spay Station II.  They hardly knew what was in store for them and they may have been a little confused by all the fuss, but the sterilization procedure they underwent will save hundreds of little lives down the road.   Less unwanted litters means less killing in our shelters and fewer pets looking for a good home.  Spay and neuter procedures are cheap and easy when you visit the Spay Station II.  Our mobile services goes to where the need is felt most, lower income and underserved communities.

And next month we’re partnering with WeSNIP to sponsor a special Neuter is Cuter day.  The entire day of February 22nd is dedicated to neutering male cats for only $5.00, and thus preventing thousands and thousands of kittens from being born.  If you live in or near Whatcom County in Washington State contact our friends at www.wesnip.org to find out more information and to sign up to volunteer to help.  All inquiries should be sent to info@tails-a-wagging.com

There are lots of volunteer opportunities that will help make Neuter Is Cuter a wild success;

Day-Of morning set up

Day-Of afternoon tear down

End of day Clean up

Please print and post the Neuter is Cuter Poster (click below) in area locations or send to friends and family in the Whatcom County areas.

Looking for other ways to help animals? Visit our Home For The Howlidays page and find out how you can deliver desperately needed food and pet supplies to needy families in the Northwest.  If can’t volunteer for these activities, please make a donation today so Pasado’s can continue our spay and neuter services.

Thank You!
