Star of
Men in Black II and
production company owner, Will Smith, brings Hollywood to the farm! |
| Will Smith ("Ali",
"Fresh Prince of Bel Aire", "Men in Black") is
looking for some "Good News" - and he found it at Pasado's
Safe Haven. Smith's production company is launching a new,
nationally-syndicated television show and Pasado's will be featured in
the pilot! Right, the TV crew shoots as a humane education class
tours the farm. |

|
According to Daily
Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, "Good News" is
described as a half-hour show that "will tell emotionally
compelling stories about the unique struggles and triumphs of
inspirational individuals..." From celebrities to everyday folks
who "stood fast for principles." |
| The show spent
a day at the sanctuary following Pasado's Safe Haven co-founders,
shooting a humane education class, doing interviews, and even going on a
rescue with the Pasado crew. |

Left,
cameraman and producer jump in to help with the goat round-up during the
rescue.
According to
Will Smith, "we are tapping into the nation's post-Sept, 11
search for regular heroes as well as to highlight charitable efforts
championed by celebrities."
|
When
"Good News" approached animal-loving celebrities Drew
Barrymore, Alicia Silverstone, and Pamela Anderson with the idea to
"host" the story on Pasado's Safe Haven, they didn't expect
all three to say "yes!" (and neither did we!). We'll keep you
updated as to the airdate and what animal-friendly star ends up as our
hero!
Right, Hollywood
producer gets face wash by sanctuary dogs!
