Hurricane Gustav Tracker

FROM THE DISASTER RESPONSE CENTER
at Pasado's Safe Haven

We procure everything our field responders in Louisiana need from our sanctuary in Washington State - from trucks, to kennels, to food for the animals (or the humans!) it ALL happens HERE, round-the-clock.

Also, the hundreds of animals who reside on 80 acres at Pasado's Safe Haven's sanctuary in the Pacific Northwest still need help.

We sent many of our FEMA-certified disaster responders (on staff at Pasado's) to help in Louisiana.

We need extra hands now at the sanctuary to help with Hurricane Gustav OR with our animals!
Who can help? We'll ask you to help in the office, with the dogs in Dog Towne, in Kitty City, or with all the farm animals. Click here!

Is this really happening again?
Pasado's rescued over 1200 animals in the aftermath of Katrina in 2005.

Help us make sure that all animals are safe.

We hope and pray that this hurricane does not bring the devastation and heartache we experienced in Katrina.  However, we saved over 1200 animals that time and are preparing to do it again.  But we can't do it without you.  Please stay tuned in to our website.

Updates will be provided around the clock.

Pasado’s Safe Haven has been rated a 4-Star Charity for a record four years in a row. According to Charity Navigator, the nation’s premiere independent evaluator of charities: “Only 10% of all charities in the U.S. have received at least 3 consecutive 4-Star evaluations. This indicates that Pasado’s Safe Haven outperforms most charities in America in its efforts to operate in the most fiscally-responsible way possible. This “exceptional” designation from Charity Navigator differentiates Pasado’s Safe Haven from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust.”
