Pasado’s Safe Haven, an animal sanctuary, located on 80 beautiful acres in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains in Monroe, is seeking a dedicated, on-site cat caretaker.

Is that you? 

·      Must have extraordinary observational skills – our cats need someone who will know their behaviors and be able to sense changes in behavior immediately

·       Veterinary experience helpful but not necessary

·       Ability to live in Misty’s Kitty City at Pasado’s Safe Haven and sleep with, eat with, and love with all of the residents!

·       People skills that will engage volunteers and help them learn the daily needs of the cats

·       Detailed record-keeping skills to assure medical charts are kept extremely up-to-date

Other:  This person will "own the cats meaning they will care for them as though they are theirs. Although this is a five-day-a-week position, this means that on your days off, or when on holiday or vacation, you will take full responsibility for the care, medication, and love of all of your animals, just as you would with any pet.

It is best if this person is not a guardian to any current pets as you will be assuming an entire house full! (Negotiable within reason.

Salary, on-site housing and all utilities provided, excellent medical, vision, and dental benefits, 20 days paid-time-off per year (accrued) and doing the work of angels!
