UPDATE!

MORE DEAD BODIES, STILL NO JUSTICE!

Large animal vet Dr. B performs a necropsy (animal autopsy) on yet another unfortunate creature that succumbed to the ravages of starvation, what many believe to be a direct result of owner neglect.

This animal died despite weeks of care after being removed from the farm where the previous owner refused to feed, water or provide medical care for the more than thirty animals on the property he leased.

The death toll grew even higher when Pasado's returned to the grisly scene where the animals suffered months of starvation.  While KING5, a local TV station, filmed, we discovered an  additional three carcasses that has not been previously identified. To our knowledge Snohomish County Animal Control has not investigated this incident as a crime.

Many concerned neighbors saw what was happening to the cattle and offered free hay to the farmer over the past months, but were rebuffed and sometimes threatened.  Some of the same people provided transportation to the surviving cattle after the farmer finally relented and allowed the animals to be moved to a better environment, but only after animals started to die.

To Pasado's and to this community, the fact that this farmer has been allowed to walk away from the carnage scott-free is an outrage.
