Our feral cats are STYLIN'!! Daphne, one of Pasado's long-time best friends, is constructing the best feral cat house in the world (o.k., we're just a teeny-bit biased - but it IS adorable!). We have a huge thanks to give to Bruce Nordstrom, who wanted to purchase something special for his lovely, animal-loving wife, Jeannie, for their anniversary. We suggested a feral cat house. And here it is! It sits in the woods, on securely-fenced acreage. The fencing was donated by our dedicated Kitty City volunteer cat caretaker, Donna T. She drive two hours, round-trip, twice a week to take care of all of our rescued cats. And to top it off, she fenced the feral cat area so they could enjoy the woods, safely, day or night. Thanks to everyone, our ferals are stylin'!

Welcome to Kitty City, where all of the cats, young and old, climb an intricate web of "trees", perches, and cubby holes, inside or outdoors - what a life for cats who once had no future!

You won't find a cage at Pasado's "Kitty City" (unless an animal is rehabilitating from surgery or illness that is contagious). Cats enjoy the coolest perch/climbing cat system around that entertains both cats and humans! They can "escape" to the outdoors, "hunt" for critters in the woods, or sun on the grass, all in a secure area that's available 24-hours-a-day.

And when they're not busy playing, or sleeping in the sun, they're watching TV! Thanks to Andy & Wendy, two Pasado's supporters, the kitties get to tackle mice, fish, spiders, and other virtual prey!

Heidi, one of our incredible Kitty City volunteers who comes every week to help, takes a break with one of the residents. Beautiful Adirondack chairs were donated by Rhonda, a weekly AARFF volunteer. She comes every Sunday, rain or shine, to help the elderly AARFF dogs. And when her beloved friend passed away, she wanted to do something to memorialize his life. She bought these chairs for Kitty City, so people can come and spend time with our beloved cats. A plaque, in his memory, simply says, "In memory of Bob Veer. Always friendly. Now he walks with all of the animals up in heaven."
