Boswell was found with a heavy chain around his neck, chained to the door of an animal shelter. He remains in  remarkably good spirits despite being treated so poorly. Although Boswell is mostly blind, he gets around well, and greets visitors with a tail wag and a playful stance.  He is about 5 yrs old.

Cleo is a sweet girl with a real spunk and love for life.  She was found in a shelter in California where she was standing on a broken leg and had sadly not gotten any care for the injury.   She was flown to Pasado's Safe Haven where she is finally receiving the necessary medical care.    

If a dog could be a canvas- Cleo would be the one!   She is one of a kind!  This beauty seems to have little bit of every color and every pattern sprinkled about her body. 

ROY

Roy is a mild-mannered, dashing, Chow mix. This guy is a big, loving lug with the sweetest temperament you could ever dream of!  He's faithful, loyal, and always greets his visitors with a happy tail wag and a smile. 

Roy has incontinence issues, but please don't let that put you off.  One of his adoring fans bought him Tinkle Trousers and he's not at all embarrassed to let you know that they work great!  Not only do they help him avoid having accidents, but he also looks pretty stylin' in them.

A home where somebody who is home a lot would be ideal for Roy.  He will repay your efforts with more love than you can imagine.  What a big ol' sweetie!  Come out and see what a dreamboat Roy is.  You will fall in love.

Roy really needs a home without stairs.

This wonderful boy recovered beautifully and was re-christened Patch. Besides having an expression that will melt your heart, Patch is a very smart guy and obeys the usual commands of sit, stay, come, and lie down like a pro. He’s also great on a leash and has perfect manners. You couldn’t ask for a better houseguest. If all that weren’t enough to make this deserving dog your new best friend, Patch is also a big snuggler and loves nothing better than following his favorite people around to see what they’re up to. Please consider making Patch your newest family member. He’ll be loyal and true, and he’ll make you smile every day.

This little cuddle bug suffered some pretty serious neglect in his past.  When rescued, his skin was in horrible condition and he had a very deep wound on his paw. 

Colby is looking for that special companion to take him on long walks and on trips to the dog park. He is a bit timid when introduced to new things and can be very shy, especially around men.  But once he gets to know and trust you, he will never leave your side! 

Colby is 25% Whippet and 75% sweet!!!  This boy loves to play ball but is also satisfied with being a couch potato. He has shown in the past that he does not get along well with certain black dogs.  He is smaller, only 50lbs and has a very short Brindle coat. His big soft brown eyes will melt your heart!  
  

BANDIT

Oh the stories that this boy could tell...  Bandit belonged to a homeless man who passed away on Jan. 1.  He was left to wander alone.  Would there be a new home for him in the new year?

Pasado’s Safe Haven volunteers had met Bandit when they were delivering presents and supplies to pets of the poor on Christmas Day.   It was clear that he was a very intelligent dog.  He can sit, stay and shake.  He absolutely loved to play ball and give high fives for treats.  When we heard that his owner had died and that he had been found looking bewildered n the streets, there was only one answer- Pasado's would help this friend that we had met on Christmas find his forever home.

Bandit is a very nice dog that walks well on a leash and seems happiest spending time with people.  He loves to go for rides in the car, something he has never gotten to do much of before.  He is energetic and really wants to be a companion to someone again.
